Daribokgre is a small village with only 35 households belonging to East Garo HIlls district of Meghalaya. It is the gateway to Nokrek National Park (NNP) and offers amazing views all around. Entry level meeting with the villagers done. Concept of Model Village explained to them and all are very excited with the possibilities.
Survey of Households completed. All basic data has been captured.
Improving the school functioning has been taken up as the first intervention.
Camps are being organised in the village to enrol all the villagers for Aadhar, Election ID etc.
Enrolment of all residents for Aadhar card & Election ID is completed.
All houses and village area has been Solar Electrified by G.H.E
