Training on Bee Keeping

One of the components being livelihood, we are taking several steps to ensure that each and every household gets a stable source of income. As almost half of the households are interested in bee keeping, we arranged for a detailed 5 day training on various aspects of bee keeping

The best thing was that the resource person was a very hard working and knowledgeable farmer from our district itself. His name is Shri Lebi Sangma and he has been involved with several activities like bee keeping, fisheries, paddy cultivation etc. Apart from this training, various bee boxes and extractors have already been provided by Wildlife department in the past. Hope this will help them increase their production in the times to come.
